Super Bowl 38 > Patriots vs Panthers
Well. The Super Bowl matchup is set. #38 will feature the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots. The game is in Houston, Texas two weeks from yesterday.
Carolina makes it to their first ever superbowl on the heals of beating the Eagles in their third straight NFC championship game loss. Jake Delhomme quarterbacks this club that came out of nowhere to win the NFC. No one predicted that this team would be this good, and truthfully they are this good. They have a strong running attack, quick aggressive recievers, a nasty front four on defense and a smart agile secondary. They are very good and can't be taken lightly.
New England comes into their second Super Bowl in three years after conquering the AFC. New England has a strong passing attack led by Super Bowl 36 MVP Tom Brady and the deepest group of recievers in the NFL. Their defense is also the strongest in the league. New England's running game is competent. They also have the best coach in football.
The matchup is set. It's going to be a good game. I'm sure my dad is super excited that his beloved Patriots have made it to the big game again. I'm sure he's taking the Panthers lightly. He shouldn't. My early forecast sees it as a tough fought game that will probably be decided by only a few touchdowns.
