Whoops somone hasn't been recording time spent on this project. This never ending battle against my expectations, my other expectations, and what I actually produce. I've got so many thoughts, but then so many other conclusions. Whatever. Since we last spoke I added several new gallerys and adventures and those can be accessed on the main page (newest only) and the adventures or concerts pages. The main site design went through a brief period of several changes, I think what I have now is nice and I welcome opinions. I have added a fully functional perl message board. That's fun. Etc etc etc. There has been a lot done and this isn't describing it well at all. I'll try to update more here. Check the board for random thoughts

My my my, it's been a little while, but hey. what can i say. a few things were done in the last 24 hours that you should know, first off.. three new concert photo sections. moe. 10.31.02, Particle 10.31.02, Disco Biscuits 10.29.02. Other than that, i did things you would not have noticed unless i told you. I just modified every single adventure and concert gallery. Almost all pages should now have the links on the left, and most all of them all have there own counter. In the next few weeks i will make a page to show you the tally of all these counters. til then, new adventures and such should be coming soon.

I have done a lot of things in the past couple of days that probably could have equalled the amount done in the last month. I moved a lot of things around which will lead to a map created in a few days most likely. It all makes sense to me now, some search engines are going to need time to update their links, but i should be covered with refreshes, and the old page is still there, once you click on any link you will get tossed back into the new circle. I have yet to go through any adventure or concert gallery, but the days section is updated, all the other major spots have been hit up nicely. I've added the links to the left, first time today, and put a thumb of the pic of the day at top. Each time the picture is updated that will change, no code manuver needed. Off to madden i go, for a late night round.

Yeah so I don't know. I have been really busy at work lately and haven't had much time to work here. I'm sure I did some things over the past month, but I don't remember exactly what. The site is always in development and there will always be updates. Just don't know what they are or when they will be implemented. I always have a ton of ideas, but like anything else, it all comes down to the amount of time necessary that is free and not spent on video games or something else. anyway.

I just pumped out The World of Brian Smith Wallpaper Greatest Hits Volume 1. All of which are beautiful crisp pictures with a smooth 1024 by 768 pixels, which means if that's how big your desktop is, then the pic will take up the entire screen. This is a background. I love how people call it a screen saver. That's great. So if you want to call it a screen saver, a background, a wallpaper, or even backdrop. That's great. I think 45. Yep. Spent some time updating the design of the picture of the day pages, however many there are... took me about fourty minutes. This is crazy. Do you have any idea how much work is involved with this site, and how much time I haven't put into it. Or how much time I have already put into it, it's not like this is everything that i do, or the only thing, but like I have said before, it all comes in spurts. Spent a few minutes updating the design of the remaining adventures to this black background, white foreground design.. the only ones who will remain as they are, are the ones that have a page for each picture, like tsc, etc...for tons of laziness, i have decided to keep concert shots with the other design, will give some depth to the site, bla... madden time...im out

I did a lot of updates a week or so ago, I added an image map to the Gallery page to separate adventures from concert shots.. which are adventures but appeal to a wider audience perhaps. Just added a few new days.. Here are all the galleries I put up a week ago. Twisted at the G, Brian Makes Fire, Inside Bailey, Outside Bailey, Bailey Residents, Before Phish, I-88 Cleanup, My Graduation, Hockey on the Lake, The Cocktail, Walk to Mud Lake with Dave, The Dookie, Bruce vs Pete, Cards with Ben Looking for the Gallery? I still have about 10 galleries or so to throw up, also I have been working on changing the design across all pages to what you see on this one, it's really a bitch job, but somebody has to do it, keep your eyes tuned, check in every week or so to see something quazi-new. I'm going to Texas next week, so i'll have that adventure up as soon as I can process it through my head.

More on the spring tour to follow. After a brief web development hiatus, the world of brian smith is back at its new location: axanodus.com. The future of firstreactionguy.com/ although still present. remains a mystery. I am not sure what I will be doing with it. Does anyone have any suggestions? If so email mail. Doing a lot of thinking as to how this site will be from now on. I think I like this black, although white may have been more pleasing to the eye. What do you think of that? Do you care? Does it matter. I will just go with it then. I didn't give you much time to anser though did I. Basically I am going through trying to determine a better way to organize all of the items on this site. I think I have got the formula. I can not share, because then i would have to kill you. I need to start typing more things. Pictures are cool and all, albeit I have a lot of new pictures to show off in the coming of time. Still not sure what to do with the old galleries, think I will reorganize them, though I do believe I am going to make a switch to all smaller pictures, at least 320x240 i believe. Pics take up the most space. If you want a larger picture, all you have to do is contact me and I would be happy to send you anything you like. I take most shots at 1600x1200, which make for very nice prints. Feel free to ask for these and I would be happy to work something out. Chances are if I don't know, then things are different. Even so, anything can be arranged. I am going to actually do the work now, rather than talk and think about it. Later:::>()

I blame all these telemarketing calls on Marie Draper, the previous tenant of this phone number. If you are a telemarketor calling me, I don't really mind. I will entertain you in the same method that you are entertaining me, but I will not be buying your product. Never. Why do advertisers exist, you ask? Because someobody will listen and someone will purchase. It makes me sick. All of it, the pop up ads, the banners, the commercials. I feel nautious. I think I'll lie down now.

I won't be buying these cheap socks anymore, i have thrown too many away in the past couple years. A hole in the ankle is just what i need. today, i'll wear them, but after that they're garbage. when i buy white socks again, i won't get the cheapest ones. maybe that will make a difference, maybe not, but i've got no other hope.

Alright so I am going through my adventures~pictures section where I have a beef of my content. What I call the tin cup. And let me tell you something, it is a bitch to go into every single page and update things. I need to learn how to use something. I need some new skills. Yeah, I know Netscape 4.7 users right now are getting shafted. I am aware. But, ahhh, get with it and use IE.
Later.. All picture galleries.. well not all. but pretty much most of them have been converted either to the newer format with links on top or the thumbnall style

You know something strange is going on when it is February and you are already feel a sense of spring fever coming. Since we have been keeping records, this has been the second warmest winter (I heard on the news). I'm sure there have been many warmer winters so I don't think we have much to worry about. I know some of you are saying, well what about this greenhouse effect? Yeah we have a lot of problems right now as a society and it is very possible that because of the rapid development of our culture, we may be increasing evolution's natural cycle. I believe in cycles. Every that happens, happens again. The earth was once a big ball of gooey non living black stuff and will eventually become that again. The earth will thrive again and will also continue to thrive. I get frustrated sometimes when I think about what we can do to help, because I do not know if there is even a solution. I'm leaning more towards, what will happen, will happen, and that is because it was supposed to happen. I am also leaning towards total belief in fate, in that everything happens for a specific reason. Well, why do I feel spring fever in February? There must be a reason. I like Spring a lot.

I did a lot of work today. Not only did I add the search Pics database and asp pages, but I also added a google search to the main page. Now users can search for pictures or anything else on the site. I need to go through and make sure my meta tags make sense for all my pages but I have a lot of pages and this takes time. Same for pictures, I have probably a thousand online and each one of those needs to be added to the database to be able to be searched upon. I am only one man. I do what I can.

Things are moving along just like always. I try to put a new pic up everyday, but I know that not every one will see the pic for the day so i tend to leave it there for a day or two. Sometimes, not all the times. Either way, if you click on DAYS at the top you will be able to see the pic that i posted on any day whenever you want. I like to think that the new pic each day is the only thing good about this site at all. The only reason for you to come back. Yeah there is some other stuff here, but once you've seen it you've seen it. Always come back looking for a new pic, because I can guarantee there is one.

I did a bunch today. Uploaded Poem Place so that's back up. Have a lot of work to do on that site, but its up for now. Added comment boards to the world and rezi site. Improved navigation and look of rezi pages, added a bunch of pictures. Still have to convert all the old adventures/rezi shots to new look. Have to also look into style sheets to make this site look "pretty". Eden Trackers were uploaded yesterday and finished today. Has mid-season report. Peace for now. Added parts of the Facts and Quotes sections from thesis. Changed to a main.asp page. Also put in the user cookie and number of visits.
