Yeah. I don't know. I don't want to focus on this war thing all the time but I can't stop. I have to have the information when it happens. I know right now that it is 8 AM in IRAQ because I just saw it on TV. That and I don't remember anything like this when we took over Afghanistan a year ago, but I believe that was a much dirtier war with the Taliban and other such forces of magnitude.
But I will have moments that I can take a moment and get my head away from this war, like tonight when I went "out" with Eden on the town or rather to Bruno's for dinner who didn't exactly meet our reservation needs, meh!, and then later to a production by
Saratoga Stages, our neighbors, called Paul Pry. Paul Pry is a modern interpretation of
The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. I don't know who Paul Pry is after going to this thing and it very much mystifys my mind right now. Yes, I don't really know what I just saw but it was cool. There was a face talking on two screens in the top corners of the stage which also told the story for the play at times I thought too much to read right now I want to see whats going on down there, also a problem with subtitles. but. The music was really cool and there was a lot of action in the play. The actors were fairthly good, but many times they were wearing masks. The lead role male actor basically swung from the top of the stage (black box style) eventually spelling out the word "ETERNITY".. The Snow Queen a whole other story, spelled out the word "HOPELESS" in his fortress behind and above the stage. It was creepy and at times sinister. Who Paul Pry is? I don't know, I think there was a million times more to the story than I saw. Oh man. I'm glad I saw this, because it's probably something I'll never see again. Unless I go again. Or unless the writers of Paul Pry put the play on again in the future.
