IBM Lotus Announces Finalists for the Tenth Annual Lotus Awards (formerly known as the Lotus Beacon Awards)
Meet the IBM PartnerWorld for Software PartnerWorld for Developers Business Partners that have been selected as finalists in for the Tenth Annual Lotus Awards. They that have left their mark on our dynamic industry, dedicating their time and energy to build innovative solutions using IBM Lotus software.
As one of our industry's most prestigious awards, the Lotus Awards (previously known as the Lotus Beacon Awards) have honored outstanding solutions from around the world for a decade. Each year, we receive hundreds of nominations worthy of consideration, and it takes multiple panels of industry judges - including analysts and members of the press - to select our top finalists.
Winners will be announced via press release on December 18th as well as on a special Third Thursdays with Lotus teleconference for Business Partners on December 18th, 2003.
Winners and finalists will be invited to a special reception at Lotusphere 2004, to be held January 26- 29th at The WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort in Orlando, Florida.

For the Best Real-Time & Team Collaboration Solution: Recognizes an on-line collaborative solution that leverages Lotus' collaborative technologies to enhance communication, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness in order to improve collaboration among the customer's employees, customers, suppliers, or distributors. The finalists:
-Brookstone Technologies Pty Limited (Australia)
-Eden Communications, Inc. (US)
-Relavis Corporation (US)
Stay tuned! The Best in Lotusphere Showcase award is available to all Exhibitors at Lotusphere. This award category is judged on site and the winner/finalists will be announced at Lotusphere. An invitation to nominate solutions for this category will be sent to all exhibitors at the beginning of December.
Best in Lotusphere Showcase Award: Recognizes an innovative solution that leverages the latest cutting-edge Lotus technology to demonstrate the collaboration and human interaction power of Lotus software. Particular consideration will be given to those solutions that integrate multiple Lotus & WebSphere technologies such as a portal application that surfaces Lotus Domino applications, or a Domino application that uses IBM Lotus Notes/Domino 6.5 and integrates Lotus Instant Messaging. ¶ 11/25/2003 02:10:00 PM
